FMP – Ron Scott interviews Brenda Love of the Sierra Club about the Detroit Incinerator


The Southeast Michigan group of the Sierra Club focuses on identifying and fighting to eliminate residential health threats in Detroit such as lead paint, diesel truck emissions and fighting to close the controversial trash incinerator that its members attribute to a higher number respiratory illnesses in the city. The group also promotes urban farming and recycling. Ron Scott discusses some of these issues and the current state of affairs with the Sierra Club’s Brenda Love.
