Grover Rocket Stove

Here at Homestead Basics, we have been looking for a great option for a backup type stove. We wanted something we could use to cook in the back yard and not use much fuel. We have a small propane reserve for our BBQ grill, but that wasnt enough. We found this Grover Rocket Stove and really like it! I just called them to get the specs. The thing is built with 14guage steel and should last forever provided its not left in the weather all the time. Like all rocket fuel designs, these require very little wood to heat up and cook dinner, or boil water. My opinion is that a rocket stove of some sort should be something that every home should have in their emergency preparedness category.
