Participatory Nature of City Fresh

City Fresh embodies a community-wide effort to re-localize our food system. City Fresh is particularly is interested in promoting “food equity”- this includes a tricky balance between insuring a fair and living price for participating farmers while at the same time making local food more affordable and accessible in urban neighborhoods that lack healthy food access. How does City Fresh do it? By creating a system where everyone can pitch in and do their small part to make it all work.
