My first in-person interview with an artist! During my first year at Berklee College of Music, Taja came to Boston to perform at Bill’s Bar in support of her ‘Toys of Vanity’ album (which boasted the much-liked “I & I”). Before the show, I had the chance to talk with her. In this first part, she discusses her childhood; her musical beginnings; and living in Hollywood/Los Angeles! These days, Taja runs a very cool non-profit organization called Urban Farming (urbanfarming.org).
